tlisted for the Trends Impact Awards 2026</a>\nKrysalis® shortlisted for
the Trends Impact Awards 2026 -Haemers Technologies presents to the jury H
aemers Technologies is proud to announce that its project Krysalis® has b
een nominated for the Trends Impact Awards 2026\, in the Technology catego
ry. We recently had the opportunity to present the project in front of the
jury\, made up of experts from Trends-Tendances\, PwC Belgium and the Ant
werp Management School. Most of us know PFAS — the "forever chemicals"
 — through the water: contaminated tap water\, polluted rivers\, tainted
groundwater. But water is where the problem surfaces\, not where it linger
 s. The soil is what keeps it going. At contaminated sites\, most of the PF
AS mass sits in the ground\, trapped for decades — a reservoir that slow
ly leaks into the water beneath our feet. Across Europe\, thousands of suc
h sites remain untreated\, and someone always pays: nearby communities\, p
ublic budgets\, and the next generation. Until now\, the usual answer has
been to move the problem\, not remove it. Krysalis® changes that. We gent
ly warm the soil — never burning it — so the PFAS release as vapours w
hile the ground itself stays intact. Those vapours are then captured and d
estroyed in the heating system\, where they are fully mineralised — gone
for good. Because only the extracted PFAS are destroyed\, and never the s
oil\, the ground keeps its structure and natural functions: at the end\, t
he soil is still living soil. We have proven it. In Korsør\, Denmark\, a
full-scale demonstration with Denmark's five regions and the University of
Copenhagen treated 60 tonnes of heavily contaminated soil. Their analyses
confirmed no detectable PFAS left in the treated soil\, and none in the e
missions. Join us on 19 November 2026 at Maison de la Poste\, Tour & Taxis
(Brussels)\, for the awards ceremony. We'd love to talk to you about this
project and our full range of soil remediation [...]
