SITE UPDATE : UCCLE, BELGIUM

We have finished the treatment on our site in Uccle, Belgium ! The origin of the contamination was from leaking oil tanks under a building and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil. The desired treatment temperature was 220°C. 42 burners were used to treat 720m³ of soil at a depth of 4m. The initial concentration was up to 30 000 mg/kg ms and we obtained a final < 260 mg/kg ms concentration. In conclusion, we have achieved a remediation...

SITE UPDATE : QUAREGNON, BELGIUM

We have finished the treatment on our site in Quaregnon, Belgium ! The origin of the contamination was from a residential oil tank and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons. The desired treatment temperature was 220°C at cold point. 2 Smart Burners in the cellar and 4 outside in the bore were heated to treat 40m³ of soil. NEW ABSTRACT : ISTD FOR THE TREATMENT OF VOCI-CONTAMINATED SOIL FROM A FORMER ALUMINUM FACTORY®

The object of this article is to study the application of In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) for the treatment of VOCl-contaminated soils (i.e. DCE, TCE, PCE) in urban areas. A concrete case of soil remediation project that Haemers Technologies® has conducted in the residential area of Bonheiden (Belgium) is also presented. SITE UPDATE : KALINA POUND, POLAND

We recently celebrated the successful end of our combined remedation with our partner REMEA PL ! The site was contaminated with PAH and BTEX and we have remediated it by applying Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD). Thanks to both teams for this amazing work !
