We are happy to share with you the article published in the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology and available on ScienceDirect (Elsevier). Kudos to Mathieu Petitjean (Innovation Engineer), author of this article, for his great contribution adressing “Low-complexity mapping of soil temperature for thermal treatment follow-up”. It is also a great team effort with contributions from Yves Randoux, Aline Jordens, Hatem Saadaoui, Jan Haemers. Another great example of a committed team working together to innovate for soil remediation. The article is also published [...]
From October 5 to 6, Haemers Technologies will attend Intersoil 2022 (Brussels, Belgium). Intersoil is an annual conference that addresses the topics of soil, sediments and water. This year’s theme is “What Strategy for European Soils in 2030?”. Our HT speaker will be Jan Haemers (Chief Executive Officer) and he will talk about: “Thermoreact ® – An innovative remediation product for In-situ Neutralization of halogens, sulphur, phosphorus and mercury during Thermal Desorption”. Learn more about Intersoil’s full program here.
A new ISTD project (In Situ) site is underway in Uccle, Belgium. We are currently in the assembly phase and the origin of this contamination is from leaking oil tanks under a building. The treatment depth is 4 meters and 720m³ have to be treated. 42 burners are used to remediate the site. The soil will be heated during 50 days at a desired temperature of 220° to treat the oil tank contamination. Our technologies are adapted even to sites in urban [...]
We are happy to announce you that our free site visit are back and this time it will take place under a building. Each thursday and friday from From 22 August to 9 September, Haemers Technologies will introduce you to the In Situ Thermal Desorption for soil remediation. The visits will take place in the middle of an urban area, in the basement of an administrative building where we are treating contamination from leaking oil tanks. This will be an [...]
Once again, we are really happy to be featured in a Belgian media! We are particularly honoured that RTL Info came back on the soil remediation we provide in Bien Hoa Airfoce Base in Vietnam after being contaminated by Agent Orange. Agent Orange has caused damage to both the soil and the health of the local population, but we will eradicate dioxin on several sites in Vietnam. Watch the full video in french here.
We are still happy for the excellent results we had on our site at the Bien Hoa Airforce Base in Vietnam and we continue to celebrate our collaboration with GAET and CTET/Chemical Force of the Vietnam Ministry of Defense. We are truly flattered and especially honoured to be featured in the Bruzz media with an article about our success in Vietnam and a short portrait of the CEO of Haemers Technologies. From a classic childhood to a remarkable expansion, Bruzz make [...]
We are honoured for our appearance on the media L1mburg which shared a video of our presence in the site of Heerlen, where we are treating by thermal desorption Japanese knotweed, an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. As a reminder, we are currentlyt collaborating with Thermal Clean Shift on this project in order to eradicate Japanese knotweed in Heerlen ( Netherlands) using our Smart Burners technology. We are obviously flattered that L1mburg Centraal mentions Haemers Technologies as a hope to eradicate [...]
We are treating Japanese knotweed by thermal desorption in Heerlen, the Netherlands. Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. The plant spreads through stem parts and rhizomes, causing damage to ecosystems, infrastructure and buildings. The municipality of Heerlen is mapping the locations where knotweed grows, and applying management measures and controls. With this unique pilot, the municipality of Heerlen and its partners want to investigate whether this unwanted exotic plant can be thermally controlled. To eradicate this harmful plant, the municipality [...]
