You may be wondering what NICOLE is? No, it is not a new collaborator but a forum that aims to foster collaboration between universities, industry and companies that provide sustainable services in Europe such as soil remediation. In fact, NICOLE stands for Network for Industrially Co-ordinated Sustainable Land Management in Europe.

But why? To get an overview of industrially polluted soils in Europe and be able to manage them in a sustainable, cost-effective and efficient way.
