SITE UPDATE : BASTIA, France

admin2023-08-22T15:07:50+02:00

We have finished the treatment of our first batch on our site in Bastia, France ! The origin of the contamination was from the old power plant of Lucciana and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with VOHCs (Volatile Organic Halogenated Compounds). The desired treatment temperature was 85°C and 33 burners were heated to treat 3 250m³ of soil. We are collaborating with Englobe France on this site remediation.

SITE UPDATE : UCCLE, BELGIUM

admin2023-08-09T11:00:55+02:00

We have finished the treatment on our site in Uccle, Belgium ! The origin of the contamination was from leaking oil tanks under a building and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil. The desired treatment temperature was 220°C. 42 burners were used to treat 720m³ of soil at a depth of 4m. The initial concentration was up to 30 000 mg/kg ms and we obtained a final < 260 mg/kg ms concentration. In conclusion, we have achieved a remediation...

SITE UPDATE : QUAREGNON, BELGIUM

admin2023-08-09T10:45:00+02:00

We have finished the treatment on our site in Quaregnon, Belgium ! The origin of the contamination was from a residential oil tank and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons. The desired treatment temperature was 220°C at cold point. 2 Smart Burners in the cellar and 4 outside in the bore were heated to treat 40m³ of soil. We would like to thank SITEREM SA for their trust on this project. We bring our strengths together...

SITE UPDATE : GELA REFINERY, ITALY

admin2023-08-09T10:13:08+02:00

We have finished the treatment of the last zone (24 zones treated) of VASCA A in the Ex-discharge of the Gela refinery in Sicily. Waiting for the results of the last zones, our client has validated more than 85% (15% still waiting for results). We applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Heavy Hydrocarbons and Mercury (150.000 Tons). The desired treatment temperature was 250°C and an average of 200 burners were heating to treat 9500 tons of soil per...

QUAREGNON – BELGIUM

admin2023-02-06T11:34:52+02:00

The project is located in Belgium (gps coordinates: ‘50.434913n, ‘3.85913e). The domestic fuel oil tank leaked and contaminated the ground under the cellar and next to the house in the garden with hydrocarbons. The site is divided into 2 parts, one part under the house in the cellar, and one part outside in the bore designed to place the oil tank. The house will still be inhabited during the works of depollution in cellar where 4 burners have been placed. the...

We have launched the treatment of the first of the two batches of our site in Lucciana, France. We applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Volatile Organic Halogenated Compounds. The desired treatment temperature is 85°C for a treatment depth of 5 to 13 meters. 33 burners are heated to treat the first batch and 51 will be heated to treat the second batch. We are collaborating with Englobe France on this site remediation for EdF.

BONHEIDEN – BELGIUM

admin2022-11-25T13:20:57+02:00

The site is a disaffected building which faith is to be rebuild for housing and is contaminated with chlorinated solvent. The contamination has been emitted by an aluminum refining process. The site is composed of two distinct rooms for a total of 60m². A 2m soil layer has been excavated from one of the rooms and then has been backfilled with sand cement/concrete. Even there’s a 2m layer of clean soil, for such shallow depth, the heat has to start...

Haemers Technologies in the media L1mburg Centraal

admin2022-07-06T15:40:05+02:00

We are honoured for our appearance on the media L1mburg which shared a video of our presence in the site of Heerlen, where we are treating by thermal desorption Japanese knotweed, an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. As a reminder, we are currentlyt collaborating with Thermal Clean Shift  on this project in order to eradicate  Japanese knotweed in Heerlen ( Netherlands) using our Smart Burners technology.   We are obviously flattered that L1mburg Centraal mentions Haemers Technologies as a hope...
