🔝 We have finished the treatment of the 3rd pile on our site in Strasbourg, France. ✔️ We were applying Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). 🌡️ The desired treatment temperature was 250°C and 77 burners were heated to treat 2000m³ of soil. 💡 We are glad to announce that we have introduced a system of continuous monitoring of stack emissions. Smart Burners have the capability to treat a wide range of pollutants, primarily focusing on organic compounds. These include various challenging substances such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), dioxins, dibenzofuran, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), often found in creosote at wood treatment sites and coal tar at former Manufactured Gas Plant sites, as well as chlorinated solvents like trichloroethene (TCE), tetrachloroethene (PCE), 1,2-dichloroethene (1,2-DCE), trichloroethanes (TCA), and other halogenated hydrocarbons. We have finished the treatment of the 2nd pile on our site in Strasbourg, France. Our client has validated the results of the treatment and the facility was shut down in early December. The next step will be the dismantling, scheduled in January. We applied Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs).
