Haemers Technologies will be present at Intersoil 2022

From October 5 to 6, Haemers Technologies will attend Intersoil 2022 (Brussels, Belgium). Intersoil is an annual conference that addresses the topics of soil, sediments and water. This year's theme is "What Strategy for European Soils in 2030?". Our HT speaker will be Jan Haemers (Chief Executive Officer) and he will talk about: "Thermoreact ® - An innovative remediation product for In-situ Neutralization of halogens, sulphur, phosphorus and mercury during Thermal Desorption". NEW SITE ALERT: ISTD IN UCCLE, BELGIUM

A new ISTD project (In Situ) site is underway in Uccle, Belgium. We are currently in the assembly phase and the origin of this contamination is from leaking oil tanks under a building.   The treatment depth is 4 meters and 720m³ have to be treated. 42 burners are used to remediate the site. The soil will be heated during 50 days at a desired temperature of 220° to treat the oil tank contamination.   Our technologies are adapted even to sites in urban areas...

Soil remediation under a building – site visit

Each thursday and friday from From 22 August to 9 September, Haemers Technologies will introduce you to the In Situ Thermal Desorption for soil remediation. Once again, we are really happy to be featured in a Belgian media! We are particularly honoured that RTL Info came back on the soil remediation we provide in Bien Hoa Airfoce Base in Vietnam after being contaminated by Agent Orange. Agent Orange has caused damage to both the soil and the health of the local population, but we will eradicate dioxin on several sites in Vietnam. Watch the full video in french here.

We are treating Japanese knotweed by thermal desorption in Heerlen, the Netherlands. Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. The plant spreads through stem parts and rhizomes, causing damage to ecosystems, infrastructure and buildings.
