SITE UPDATE : STRASBOURG, FRANCE

admin2022-12-22T17:10:59+02:00

We have finished the treatment of the 2nd pile on our site in Strasbourg, France. Our client has validated the results of the treatment and the facility was shut down in early December. The next step will be the dismantling, scheduled in January. We applied Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). The desired treatment temperature was 250°C. 75 burners were heated to treat 2000m³ of soil. We are working on this project with Lingenheld...

SITE UPDATE: LUCCIANA, FRANCE

admin2022-12-22T16:32:46+02:00

We have launched the treatment of the first of the two batches of our site in Lucciana, France. We applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Volatile Organic Halogenated Compounds. The desired treatment temperature is 85°C for a treatment depth of 5 to 13 meters. 33 burners are heated to treat the first batch and 51 will be heated to treat the second batch. We are collaborating with Englobe France on this site remediation for EdF.

SITE UPDATE: KALINA POUND, POLAND

admin2022-11-16T16:09:11+02:00

The 2nd and last pile on our site in the area of Kalina Pound, Poland is finally finished! The contamination was caused by PAH and BTEX and we remediated by applying Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD).   The soil was heated at a desired temperature of 250° to treat the contaminants and the burners were heated to 500°.   We worked in collaboration with REMEA PL on this site remediation.

SITE UPDATE: STRASBOURG

admin2022-10-10T14:39:08+02:00

The 2nd pile on our site in Strasbourg, France has been launched. As a reminder, the site has been contaminated by Hydrocarbons and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons. We are applying Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD) to remediate the soil. 75 burners are operated to remediate 2000m³ of soil. The soil will be heated at a desired temperature of 250° to treat the contaminants. We are working on this project site with LINGENHELD Groupe. We bring our strengths together for the common purpose of soil...

SITE UPDATE: ISTD UCCLE, BELGIUM

admin2022-09-13T16:19:34+02:00

We are happy to announce the treatment phase of our ISTD site in Uccle is launched!   As a reminder the origin of this contamination is from leaking oil tanks under a building. The treatment depth is 4 meters and 720m³ have to be treated. 42 burners are used to remediate the site. The soil will be heated during 50 days at a desired temperature of 220° to treat the oil tank contamination. Soil pollution is sometimes neglected because it is often invisible....

SITE UPDATE: ESTD IN STRASBOURG, FRANCE

admin2022-09-13T16:54:05+02:00

We have launched the 8th pile at our site in Strasbourg, France. We are treating polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrocarbons by applying Ex-Situ thermal desorption (ESTD).   We are working in collaboration with Ortec on this project. We are bringing together our expertise to give back health to our soils!   We are currently in the processing phase of the remediation process. 41 burners are used and heated at 400-450°. The desired treatment temperature is at 200° and the method of treatment is by...

Haemers Technologies in the media L1mburg Centraal

admin2022-07-06T15:40:05+02:00

We are honoured for our appearance on the media L1mburg which shared a video of our presence in the site of Heerlen, where we are treating by thermal desorption Japanese knotweed, an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. As a reminder, we are currentlyt collaborating with Thermal Clean Shift  on this project in order to eradicate  Japanese knotweed in Heerlen ( Netherlands) using our Smart Burners technology.   We are obviously flattered that L1mburg Centraal mentions Haemers Technologies as a hope to eradicate  Japanese...

NEW SITE ALERT: ISTD FOR JAPANESE KNOTWEED IN HEERLEN

admin2022-06-29T14:56:40+02:00

We are treating Japanese knotweed by thermal desorption in Heerlen, the Netherlands. Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an invasive, non-native plant in Europe. The plant spreads through stem parts and rhizomes, causing damage to ecosystems, infrastructure and buildings. The municipality of Heerlen is mapping the locations where knotweed grows, and applying management measures and controls. With this unique pilot, the municipality of Heerlen and its partners want to investigate whether this unwanted exotic plant can be thermally controlled. To eradicate this harmful plant, the municipality of...
