We are delighted to share with you the enriching and significant experience our CEO, Jan Haemers, recently took part in as a speaker at the House of Representatives, at a hearing organized by the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The subject of the hearing was the Proposed Resolution on aid to victims of the use of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.
It was an honor for our company to have him contribute to this important discussion, with an introductory presentation and an opinion on this crucial proposal. As an expert in the field of soil remediation, this opportunity enabled him to share with the members of the Commission his knowledge on the matter acquired during the implementation of a successful pilot project on the Bien Hoa military base.
Other renowned speakers also took part in the hearing, such as Mr Nguyen Van Thao, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr André Bouny, writer and member of the Collectif Vietnam Dioxine, and Mr Pierre Grega, expert-manager of Dris Consult sprl.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Foreign Affairs Committee for organizing this hearing and for their commitment to this important issue.
Together, we can make a significant difference to the lives of Agent Orange victims.
