SITE UPDATE : UCCLE, BELGIUM

We have finished the treatment on our site in Uccle, Belgium !

The origin of the contamination was from leaking oil tanks under a building and we applied In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) to remediate the soil.

The desired treatment temperature was 220°C. 42 burners were used to treat 720m³ of soil at a depth of 4m.

The initial concentration was up to 30 000 mg/kg ms and we obtained a final < 260 mg/kg ms concentration. In conclusion, we have achieved a remediation rate of 98%.

Thanks to the flexibility of our technologies, remediating polluted soils in an urban area has never been easier and all of that without excavation or nuisances such as noise.
