Haemers Technologies, Inc. Enters North American Thermal Remediation Market
Once again, we were honoured to have been able to attend NORDROCS this year! As always, we were happy to meet you there and we thank each of you for attending to our posters presentation. You can still have a look on our presentations by downloading the different posters : “Sustainable Remediation Assessment: The dangers of misrepresenting sustainability to transfer the burden to the next generation”: download here. “Thermoreact® – An innovative remediation product for In situ Neutralization of halogens, sulphur,...
From September 19 to 23, Remtech Europe will be held. Remtech Europe is an annual International Conference and Exhibition in the field of land and water remediation. Our speaker for this conference will be Aurélien Vandekerckhove, Team leader of Business Development. Our presentation will take place on September 23, from 13:05 to 13:20 during the session 26: "Emerging contaminants of concern". Aurélien will lead a virtual presentation on the topic of: "Thermoreact® - An innovative remediation product for In-situ Neutralization...
Our monthly webinars have missed you? Well, it is finally back after the summer break! As you may know, these are interactive sessions that will make you learn more about our technologies. This time you will discover how Thermal Desorption and our Smart Burners™ technology can be easily adapted to remediate polluted soils under a building. Our technologies are flexible and can be applied even indoors: without excavation and no noise nuisance! We will demonstrate all this during this new session. The session...
We are happy to announce the treatment phase of our ISTD site in Uccle is launched! As a reminder the origin of this contamination is from leaking oil tanks under a building. The treatment depth is 4 meters and 720m³ have to be treated. 42 burners are used to remediate the site. The soil will be heated during 50 days at a desired temperature of 220° to treat the oil tank contamination. Soil pollution is sometimes neglected because it is often invisible....
At Haemers Technologies, we are unique and united. That is why we deeply believe that unity is strength! As you may already know, last August 5th we were present at ICEPR-NewTech'22 (International ASET inc.). We have presented at this conference about: "Thermoreact® - An innovative remediation product for In-situ Neutralization of halogens, sulphur, phosphorus and mercury during Thermal Desorption" We were honored to receive the Certificate of the Best Paper Award for our presentation there. Kudos to our HT speaker
We have launched the 8th pile at our site in Strasbourg, France. We are treating polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrocarbons by applying Ex-Situ thermal desorption (ESTD). We are working in collaboration with Ortec on this project. We are bringing together our expertise to give back health to our soils! We are currently in the processing phase of the remediation process. 41 burners are used and heated at 400-450°. The desired treatment temperature is at 200° and the method of treatment is by...
As you may already know, we will attend NORDROCS in Oslo, Norway from September 5 to 8. For this purpose, we organize a short course on September 5 from 11am to 4pm. Want to participate in this course and learn about In Situ Thermal Desorption by Conductive Heating? Register for the online short course here. Are you already registered for the conference, but you want to add the short course? Send an email to: conference@resia.se
We are happy to share with you the article published in the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology and available on ScienceDirect (Elsevier). Kudos to Mathieu Petitjean (Innovation Engineer), author of this article, for his great contribution adressing "Low-complexity mapping of soil temperature for thermal treatment follow-up". It is also a great team effort with contributions from Yves Randoux, Aline Jordens, Hatem Saadaoui, Jan Haemers. Another great example of...
From October 5 to 6, Haemers Technologies will attend Intersoil 2022 (Brussels, Belgium). Intersoil is an annual conference that addresses the topics of soil, sediments and water. This year's theme is "What Strategy for European Soils in 2030?". Our HT speaker will be Jan Haemers (Chief Executive Officer) and he will talk about: "Thermoreact ® - An innovative remediation product for In-situ Neutralization of halogens, sulphur, phosphorus and mercury during Thermal Desorption". Learn more about Intersoil's full program here.
